Wow, that is a lot offer for $20 a year. We can offer this because the SLUGS is a non-profit community of people like you, that want to share effort and resources to enjoy events and activities that an individual could not facilitate on their own. We are a collective of volunteers. The event ideas come from our members, and we work together to foster these ideas until they become an activity to enjoy. The SLUGS is truly a club owned by the members. The Board of Directors for the SLUGS are simply members helping to guide the club and manage the basic structural necessities of the organization.

Because we are community that works towards a common goal, we want to provide a safe and comfortable space for our members to enjoy. To accomplish this, we do a background check on members to prevent dangerous offenders from joining the club. But our goal is to be a welcoming community to the widest range of people & cultures, and thus we do not discriminate on the basis of age, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender, education, nor just about any other group you can think of. If we can agree that nude recreation in a social, family friendly, environment is desirable, healthy and should be recognized as everybody’s legal right, then we want you to share in our community. Learn more about us on the next page. Please keep these pages for your reference when you submit the form.

A Non-Landed Naturist Activities Club

The SLUGS do not own physical or real property on which to participate in the practice of Naturism. We visit public or private lands or other nudist/naturist clubs which do own land for the enjoyment of naturism. Not every activity is nude. We enjoy nude recreation when the environment permits it.

We expect you to take personal responsibility for yourself

Organization of activities and staying informed

SLUGS Rules of Conduct

A community is most enjoyable when we interact as friends. As a Non-Landed Club, the actions shown

by our members reflect upon our image as a club wherever we go. Our continued good relationship with

other organizations, as well as how we function as a community, is totally dependent upon each of us to

act respectfully towards others. Conduct is expected to be of the highest standards and must at all times

be appropriate for a family setting. Respect the rules of any club or organization that you may be

visiting. Know and obey the law. Behave responsibly. Treat the people you encounter with respect and

friendliness. When in doubt, ask other members what the etiquette is for a situation or location.

Not acceptable at our events: use of drugs, narcotics, illegal substances, nor is excessive alcohol

consumption and/or drunkenness. Abusive language, rude or crude behavior, overtly sexual behavior, or

advances of an unwelcome or unwanted nature will not be tolerated. No conduct that is legally criminal.

Firearms and other weapons are not allowed unless the activity is specifically geared towards them.

Conditional use: Photography or use of a video camera requires prior permission and may not be

independently posted online without a signed model release. Understand that most landed clubs are

adamant about no photography of any kind without their prior arrangement and approval. Violations can

lead to a permanent ban for their premises and possible loss of equipment. (such as film & memory cards)

Note: SLUGS media including the newsletter and travelogue videos may include members’ images

from events. These are made available to our members and viewable from the members-only section of

the website. The SLUGS do our best to protect our members from having their nude image exploited,

however, we cannot guarantee anonymity. We do not post nude pictures in our online forums.
